This is our basic, beginners course to give you an introduction to the most used hand tools you would be using in any wood craft. We will be starting off talking about workshop safety and moving on with giving live demonstrations and descriptions of the fundamental tools used in any woodworking shops.

There will also be a brief introduction to wood species, different timber qualities and how to pick the best timber to suit the project you are working on.

This is a one day course starting at 9am and ending at 5pm.

There is tea and coffee facilities on site and a Lunch is provided.

This is our basic, beginners course to give you an introduction to the most used hand tools you would be using in any wood craft. We will be starting off talking about workshop safety and moving on with giving live demonstrations and descriptions of the fundamental tools used in any woodworking shops. There will also be a brief introduction to wood species, different timber qualities and how to pick the best timber to suit the project you are working on.

You will be taught how to sharpen and maintain your hand tools and be given a chance to try all the tools demonstrated.

All of our courses are run from a working joinery so that you can see the evolution of the garage workshop into the commercial workshop.

Our team will be with you throughout the day and will happily answer any of your questions.

Classes are at a maximum of 4 giving you a more a personalized experience.
