This course is specifically designed for individuals or companies who are looking to invest their capital into cnc machining but have no experience with it. We will start the first day by introducing you to CAD to CAM Software and how it links to the CNC machine. The second day will be an introduction into CNC machines covering everything from engraving to cabinet and stair making.
We have on site a Trend CNC engraving machine and an Anderson PTP3013 beam and pod 3 Axis CNC router with an SL Laser Projector and will be demonstrating using both these machines. The third day will be about the tooling and maintenance required with the machines.
By the time you leave us you will have a greater understanding of the capabilities that a CNC machine will bring you, what type you will be requiring and budget costs. A CNC machine is not a machine you can plug and play and we strongly recommend you take this course even if you are just considering purchasing one.
This is a 3 day course with lunches included. We offer onsite accommodation.
All of our courses are run from a working joinery so that you can see the evolution of the garage workshop into the commercial workshop.
Our team will be with you throughout the day and will happily answer any of your questions.
Classes are at a maximum of 4 giving you a more a personalized experience.
Why not add to your experience and stay the weekend in one of our onsite accommodation and enjoy the spectacular views of the Afan valley trekking or mountain biking. See our accommodation page for details or contact Sue on 01639 851617.
